This year we decided to make a ‘Thankful Tree’. Every night at dinner time we would all write one thing we are thankful for on a leaf and put it on the tree. Here is our list, in no particular order. . .

Daddy is thankful for, and I quote, “good health, my hot wife, Lydia, Liam, Mommy, our home, good food, money, church, education, freedom, and good friends” And I made the list twice. He is trying to score points here!

Mommy is thankful for “Daddy, Lydia, Liam, our Savior, Freedom in America, my parents, my sisters, our health, primary, chocolate chip cookies, running water and a job”

Lydia is thankful for “Liam, Mommy, Nanny, Daddy, vegetables, butterflies, grass, giraffes, Lulu the turtle, Ruby, Roxy, our house”
Lydia was so thoughtful about this every night and took so much time writing out her words perfectly. She loved it.

Liam is thankful for “sticks, toots, candy, crayons, poop, heads, everything, story time, ducks, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Me, church, Monsters Inc.” This is for real.
My thoughts on this. . .
1. Glad I made the list of things you are thankful for, Buddy, makes me feel like a rockin’ good mom!
2. And every night we asked him his first answer was sticks or toots followed by the best toddler laugh ever. He thinks he is so funny.
3. The answer “church” had to be on a Sunday! Right?
4. Heads?!?!?!?! I hope we are not giving him a complex talking about his rather large noggin all the time. But at least he is thankful for it!
5. Life is so much fun with a two year old!
