Every year on this day I sing that song I learned way back in elementary school “Martin Luther Kiiiiii-iii-iiiinnnggg, taught us how to SING!” Although, now I am 99% sure the lyrics were supposed to be “taught us how to DREAM“. I sang it the wrong way for eons and so why correct it now? Why did no one correct me then? Anyway, on this fabulous holiday Jared and I took the kids on a picnic to the lake. It was good family time. After we ate Jared said “Alright kids, let’s go throw rocks in the lake!” Lydia spazed and was all “NNNNOOOOO! Don’t throw her in the water!” thinking he was talking about Roxy. Silly kid. We threw literal rocks in, not the dog. No worries. I love having days off!

I never, in a million years, thought this would come out of my mouth, but here it is. I want to hide every book in our house. LIAM TIGE ERNI can’t we do ANYTHING besides read?!?!?! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE that he loves to read, but holy cow! I have read, and read, and read, and read today.  I try to get him to do something else, anything else, and he will for a minute, but then he brings me another book. “Read-da-book” he says. He’s gonna be a smart one he is!

I love, love, love to listen to Liam talk. He will say anything that you ask him to. Well, if he is in the mood. And he has the cutest little lisp ever! We make him say Zoe, sock, juice, and other lispy words like a million times a day! Love him!
